Angelica Panganiban was born in the Philippines. She's now a Filipino American performer and comedian as well as host on television and model. She developed multiple organ failures as well as kidney failure, which did not recover. She was forced to adapt her lifestyle around hemodialysis and later on peritoneal dialysate. She finally returned home after 80 days of hospitalization, from the point where she was near death to her long journey back to good health. The way she lived her life was forever changed. Angelica was on dialysis for more than a decade and half of that time before she was able to undergo an organ transplant. The donor kidney would come from none other than her mother. Angelica and mom had the surgery to remove their kidneys successfully on the 13th of September, 2013, at Emory University Hospital and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston, two hospitals located across from one. Angelica Hale pursued her dream of becoming a celebrity for years after.
